I totally agree that piercing is best done at a tattoo shop! Sterile! I have finished knitting my first clogs ready to felt. I don't do instagram to put on photo. Thanks so much for this series! Addictive for sure. I am already planning my next pair.

WRT felting in a lingerie or washing bag - have you tried putting a tennis ball in there with the item to be felted? I've done that and it works a charm. Good luck with the bind off :)

Just curious, how many years does yours last? And how long do you wear them each day? Like a few minuets each day or hours each day? Ugh. And then it wears out each year or in three or four years??

Thanks for the videos. I've used them to finish my first ever pair of socks 🥳. I'm now making my second pair. One question though - do you have to do the first all knit row and if so why? Could you not go straight in to the s1k1 pattern (which is what your description says)? Thanks 😊

I love the chemistry between you too! Like others have said, this video had me chuckling from start to finish and I can’t wait to see how Jana’s Frankenslippers felt up. But I have to say, after the intro/Jana’s 12-year-old brain conversation, when you started talking about “clog #2,” I had a brief moment where MY adolescent brain kicked in. On a serious note, my slippers are finished and I love them!

All I have left is to put the last one together and finish the bumper - then on to felting - SOOO much fun this month and just in time for school to start on Monday when any spare time is gone until break…Love seeing you both each week and looking so forward to the rest - review is just fine - any opportunity to see you both!❤

Lovely.. So just to be clear, it's circular needles to start the slipper then keep using curcukar needles for top of slipper but not working on the round... Sorry I've yet to purchase pattern as need to make sure I understand what I'm doing 😂

I was following this pattern and the heel flap was so confusing for me and even after I followed the pattern to a t it just didnt look right. I love your version of the heel flap and you explained it very well and it made sense!! I was having trouble understanding the pattern and what it wanted me to do it also said to do 8 pattern repeats and I was struggling to keep up with how many repeats I had already done lol. Thank you!!

I got excited & knitted ahead, BUT my clog looks weirder than weird. Should we hold the outer sole toward us when joining to the clog, or hold the outer sole behind the clog?

I love the technique and so I bought the book. Thank you for enlightening us.
